Meet the Outside Creator Network, a vibrant community of influencers that connects social media platforms with the active lifestyle celebrated by Outside. It’s a growing piece of the custom content services offered by Brandworks, Outside’s in-house content marketing agency, and we’re hiring a Creator/Social Media Marketing Manager to lead this dynamic program. The right candidate will have proven expertise in creator marketing and a deep understanding of what makes social content authentic, credible, and engaging.     

Within 1 Month, you will:

  • Onboard and Learn: Become fully familiar with the Brandworks team, existing custom content services, and the current operational processes for the Outside Creator Network (OCN).
  • Support Campaign Execution: Take ownership of managing post-production processes and developing creator briefs.
  • Begin Network Cultivation: Start to cultivate initial relationships with existing creators and begin the process of identifying potential new creators that fit specific brands and campaigns.
  • Master Reporting: Demonstrate proficiency in tracking and reporting on campaign metrics using social media data to support current campaign delivery.

Within 6 Months, you will:

  • Lead Campaign Lifecycle: Independently develop and manage creator-led campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring creativity in campaign and content planning.
  • Manage Financials and Contracts: Take full ownership of managing creator campaign budgets and consistently negotiate creator contracts with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deepen Creator Relationships: Expand the diverse array of creators you cultivate relationships with, successfully pairing creators to meet campaign needs.
  • Apply Trend Knowledge: Actively stay at the forefront of social media trends and opportunities, applying this knowledge to optimize content creation and delivery for campaigns.

Within 12 Months, you will:

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Leverage experience analyzing social media data to influence future OCN strategy, define new opportunities, and propose improvements to processes.
  • Scale the Program: Demonstrate measurable growth and evolution of the dynamic OCN field, showing proven expertise in creator marketing and a deep understanding of what makes content authentic and engaging.
  • Define Best Practices: Optimize campaign management, budget allocation, and creator contract negotiation processes to improve efficiency across the Brandworks team.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Act as a collaborative, solution-oriented leader and resource for the team, consistently applying a creative approach to content creation and storytelling.

What YOU bring to Outside: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in creator management or digital marketing is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms and creator marketing.
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Creative approach to storytelling and content creation.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience analyzing social media data.
  • Enthusiasm to grow and evolve a dynamic field. 

 

What We Offer:

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $60,000 to $75,000.  Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more.  This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
