Job Description

• Design and maintain enterprise reporting data models including fact/dimension tables, star and snowflake schemas, semantic layers, and reporting datasets • Define and document data architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices • Ensure data models support KPIs, dashboards, operational reporting, and advanced analytics • Partner with enterprise architects and data engineering teams to design efficient ETL/ELT pipelines • Translate complex business requirements into scalable reporting data structures and workflows • Lead scalable data solution designs supporting modernization initiatives • Collaborate with reporting teams to standardize metrics, definitions, and calculations • Develop reusable data assets for BI platforms such as Power BI or similar tools • Work closely with business units and mainframe teams to gather reporting requirements • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments • Establish and enforce governance standards including metadata management and documentation • Support compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements • Troubleshoot complex data issues and provide architectural resolution guidance • Mentor report developers and analysts on best practices in data modeling and reporting

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of strong experience in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, semantic modeling)
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)
  • 8+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical data structures
  • 8+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
  • 6+ years of experience with KPI design, business metrics, and analytical methodologies
  • 8+ years interpreting data models, data dictionaries, and technical documentation
  • 4+ years of knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management
  • 6+ years working in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines
  • 2+ years of strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
