Job Description

• Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors • Manage project work schedules and priorities • Mentor and provide technical leadership in area of expertise to other engineers and projects • Support drafting of civil and mechanical design and/or equipment construction activities • Review and approve vendor document submittals • Support certification processes for GE Products • Establish and maintain technical oversight of applicable regulations • Interface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, licensing, the NRC and international regulatory authorities on technical issues • Document technical data generated by the assigned project

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or University
Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
Master’s Degree or greater in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or University preferred
Minimum of 5-8 years of Nuclear or Industrial Technology or Engineering experience is preferred
Nuclear Industry knowledge / experience
Strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, BWR core/fuel material behavior, and mechanical or structural design fundamentals
Professional Engineer registration in one or more states
