Description
In this position, you will engage with residential customers through inbound and outbound calls to drive sales, retain services, and strengthen customer loyalty and satisfaction. You will help new customers establish service, guide existing customers through upgrades and solutions that fit their needs, and participate in targeted outbound campaigns to support revenue growth, account retention, and reactivation efforts. The ideal candidate brings a positive, confident presence to every interaction, approaches sales with a competitive mindset, and is motivated by both personal performance and customer success. You excel in a high volume, fast-paced environment, communicate with professionalism and enthusiasm, and consistently strive to meet and exceed sales and service goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound sales calls to establish new services and upgrade existing accounts.
- Conduct outbound campaigns to collect overdue payments, retain customers, and reactivate services.
- Handle inbound retention calls from existing customers to address concerns, resolve issues, and retain services.
- Present and promote company products/services in a compelling and customer-focused manner.
- Accurately and efficiently capture customer interactions, account updates, and sales results in the system to support follow-up opportunities, revenue growth, and an excellent customer experience.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales, and service performance metrics.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to overcome objections and deliver win-win solutions.
- Follow call flows and sales strategies while adapting communication style based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, service features, promotions, and industry trends.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must live in Florida.
- Proven experience in customer sales.
- Call center experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Professional and engaging phone presence with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while meeting performance targets.
- Comfortable using call-handling software.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and maintain a positive attitude.
- High level of adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
