Appointments may align with technical groups focusing on areas like Cyber Resilience Foundations, Cyber Risk Reduction, or Strategic Threat Analysis.

The role involves conducting cutting-edge research applying AI, including generative AI and foundation models, to enhance the operation, planning, resilience, and security of the electrical grid. Key duties include serving as a Principal Investigator on funded projects, developing applied solutions for forecasting and anomaly detection, and mentoring staff.
