The mentor will assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance through one-on-one sessions or group workshops as directed by the teacher and instructional leader. This role is committed to educating the whole student academically, morally, and socially while implementing a result-driven curriculum.

The role involves providing mandated group and individual counseling sessions and classroom support for special education students, alongside monitoring IEP goals and participating in IEP meetings. Responsibilities also include conducting psychosocial and functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and facilitating referrals to necessary community resources.
