This role supports compliance activities within an assigned functional area by implementing compliance program elements, developing annual workplans through risk assessments, and investigating potential compliance incidents. The Privacy Director oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures for the privacy and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state laws. This role involves building a comprehensive privacy program, collaborating on security alignment, guiding risk mitigation for new technologies like AI, and managing incident response and public inquiries.
