The analyst will perform in-depth analysis of charging workflows and technical issues within Epic charging systems, defining business requirements for system optimization. Responsibilities also include ensuring accurate and compliant charge capture, coding, and documentation outcomes to support expected payment collection.

This role is responsible for the billing and collection of inpatient and outpatient accounts receivable, ensuring expected payments are collected and accounts are fully resolved. The representative must also resolve complex customer service issues and evaluate financial resources for patients to ensure proper adjudication.

The Patient Access Scheduler is responsible for pre-registering and scheduling patient appointments for assigned services to the appropriate location and providers in a courteous manner. This role also involves directing calls, distributing information, scheduling, admitting, and pre-authorizing insurance for patients.

This role involves handling inbound calls to explain healthcare billing and insurance processing to patients, counseling them on financial solutions like payment plans or assistance programs, and managing both hospital and physician accounts.
