The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with mortgage loan brokers, banks, and credit unions within an assigned territory, which includes generating new broker applications and explaining the benefits of working with Deephaven Mortgage. The Junior Account Executive will also support a senior account executive by providing daily/weekly updates and working together to generate new business and revenue.

The Account Manager will act as the primary contact for brokers post-loan submission, guiding each loan through processing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include reviewing applications, collecting and verifying documentation, preparing loan packages for underwriting, and maintaining timely communication with all stakeholders.

The underwriter will manually evaluate mortgage loan applications outside traditional QM guidelines, assessing borrower risk using alternative documentation and ensuring compliance with company and investor guidelines. Key duties include performing quality control audits, communicating eligibility requirements to lending clients, and collaborating with internal and external staff to clear loan conditions.
