The HIM Manager directs daily activities within the Health Information Management department, ensuring the security, confidentiality, completeness, and accuracy of medical records while overseeing compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role involves acting as the primary onsite contact for CMS Review Choice Demonstration/Final Rule Audit initiatives and potentially serving as the Privacy Officer.
Medical Coder (Inpatient Rehab) Remote

The Medical Coder is responsible for reviewing and assigning diagnostic and procedure codes to patient records for reimbursement and data purposes, ensuring accuracy and correct sequencing according to regulations. This involves maintaining a 95% coding accuracy threshold, reviewing charts, identifying discrepancies, and querying physicians for necessary clarification.
