Job Description
• Serve primarily as an estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors
• Support the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead to provide advisor training, regional business development and thought leadership
• Use video technology to function remotely and meet virtually with clients and advisors across the region
• Collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to maintain and increase collective impact on the clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with any of the following designations preferred: CPA, JD, M.T., LLM in taxation
- 10 -12 years overall work experience
- 4 years of trusts and estate planning, income tax planning or succession planning work experience within a public accounting, law practice, or wealth management industry environment
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 obtained within 90-days of employment
- Estate Planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation knowledge (required)
- Retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning preferred
- Effective at providing and receiving coaching and mentorship
- Thrives in a team environment to provide an exceptional client planning experience
- Communicates complex subjects clearly and effectively
- Proven emotional intelligence to optimally bond with and communicate with clients and their advisors
- Possesses a solution-oriented, client-first work ethic
- Works independently, balances competing tasks, and prioritizes work to maintain efficiency
- Maintains a positive professional attitude, with a thoughtful approach to delivering successful customer outcomes
