Job Description
Role Description
This role involves leading safety initiatives for our retail team, focusing on injury prevention, employee well-being, and OSHA compliance. This role is dedicated to creating a safe, compliant, and injury-free retail environment. Travel is limited to 20% or less.
- Lead and continuously improve safety programs to reduce workplace risks and injuries while enhancing employee engagement and workplace safety culture.
- Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Coach leaders and employees on safety principles and compliance.
- Deliver and enhance safety training, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
- Conduct site visits to assess practices, ensure OSHA compliance, and mitigate hazards.
- Partner with operations and leadership to manage investigations and safety performance.
- Promote the One Safe culture through communication, recognition, and participation.
- Maintain accurate safety records and report metrics, trends, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and other State or Federal programs
- Work experience or education in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene and/or Industrial Safety and Health.
Benefits
- The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $125,000 annually, with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.
