Job Description
• Plan and execute independent Medical strategy and engagement for appropriate assigned external medical stakeholders within a territory.
• Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease states and Pfizer medicines.
• Provide education on the clinical and economic impact of Pfizer.
• Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and relevant topics.
• Optimize patient care improvements in Medical communications and deliverables.
• Achieve leadership-defined expectations regarding the number of external medical stakeholders engaged.
• Appropriately engage with key stakeholders within the healthcare landscape.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a health science required.
- PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree (e.g., Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Physical Therapy) highly preferred.
- Relevant experience required: PharmD/PhD with 5+ years of experience, MBA/MSc with 7+ years of experience, BA/BSc with 8+ years of experience.
- Experience in Hospital therapies, outcomes, and/or epidemiology a plus.
- Clinical, formulary, and/or other management experience.
- Managed Care, Payer, Organized Customer, pharmaceutical industry, and/or Quality Improvement experience.
- Subject matter expert in vaccines and/or antivirals recognized across internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
