Role Description

Join our Global Internal Communications team focused on informing, engaging, and motivating our employees through effective communications experiences that help shape Akamai's strategic vision and mission critical goals. The team works cross-functionally with various organizations to build, support, and execute internal communications plans and employee engagement initiatives.

As a Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with HR and global communications stakeholders to create, execute, and lead internal HR communications strategy
  • Creating various types of content for the HR organization
  • Managing internal communications channels for the entire HR organization
  • Participating in our Global Internal Communications teams initiatives and strategy planning

Qualifications

  • 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Demonstrated success with internal communications, employee engagement, human resources, and/or change management
  • Ability to simultaneously manage projects, coordinate resources, and execute multiple initiatives within tight timelines
  • Experience developing and producing original, creative, and compelling communications
  • Propensity to take initiative and the confidence to bring ideas forward and stretch existing processes
  • Experience building effective networks across teams and international regions, as well as demonstrate global acumen
