Job Description
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to help build and expand an in-home wound care program throughout the Greater Nashville area. This is not just a clinical role — this is an opportunity to step into a foundational position and help shape the structure, workflows, and growth strategy of a developing mobile wound care service.
- Conduct in-home wound care visits
- Visit duration ranges from 30–75 minutes, depending on visit type (initial consult, established patient, or treatment-specific encounter)
- Full-time providers will see approximately 8 patients per day
- Perform wound assessments, treatment planning, debridement (if within scope), and ongoing care management
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
This role will play a key part in:
- Helping refine visit structure and care protocols
- Establishing efficient routing and scheduling processes
- Supporting referral development and clinical quality standards
- Contributing to the overall growth strategy of the in-home wound care program
The company is specifically looking for someone who wants to help build something — not just inherit a fully built system.
- Provide remote wound care consultation support during nights and weekends (as needed)
- Collaborate with referring providers and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license
- Experience in wound care management
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
- Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, or equivalent)
- Prior in-home wound care experience
- Experience operating independently in a field-based setting
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable building processes and systems
- Clinically confident and autonomous
- Efficient with time management and routing
- Interested in long-term growth and leadership
This role is ideal for a provider who wants to be early, influential, and part of building a scalable in-home care platform in Middle Tennessee.
