Role Description
Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology, is recruiting a Manager, Commercial Education, Ultrasound to join our team. This position is remotely located, with travel to Irvine, California for training.
The US Commercial Education Manager, Ultrasound is responsible for the design, development and execution of training for the ultrasound clinical organization aligned to the global learning strategy and in support of the US business needs. The focus encompasses both new hire training and ongoing training.
As the Manager, Commercial Education, Ultrasound, you will:
- Work with Global Education, US Commercial Marketing, Sales Leadership, Healthcare Compliance and other functional partners to shape and deliver educational programs aimed at elevating the proficiency of the Ultrasound Field Organization aligned with the company policies and strategies.
- Apply adult learning principles and professional facilitation skills in all learning programs.
- Conduct learning in live, virtual and self-guided formats aligned with the 30-40-30 learning strategy.
- Ensure that all learning content is current, copy approved and aligned with all government and legal requirements.
- Facilitate ultrasound learnings focused on anatomy, procedures, complex clinical concepts, ULS products and systems, competitive technologies, and business practices related to clinical and commercial roles for both new hire and ongoing development & training initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with Ultrasound Field Trainer to support continuity for the learner.
- Participate in development activities to elevate capabilities of proficiencies in the Learning Professional Competency Model.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required with RCS or RCDS Credentialing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with relevant business experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, along with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence small and large groups is required.
Requirements
- Up to 40% US travel is required for Irvine based new hire classes as well as Field supporting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Advanced sonography credential(s) preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of Sonography experience in Interventional Cardiology procedures.
- Knowledge with JJMT ultrasound Devices and equipment.
- Educated in adult learning concepts/theory and virtual facilitation experience.
- Educational program development preferred.
- Advanced technical skills applying Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
