Role Description
This role involves partnering with clients across various industries to deliver expert consulting in emergency management and business continuity.

Emergency Management
- Develop Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) & Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
- Apply ICS principles in planning, training, and response
- Support Emergency Response Teams (hazmat, medical, evacuation, fire)
- Conduct hazard/risk/resilience assessments
- Support crisis communications & decision-making

Business Continuity & Organizational Resilience
- Lead BIAs, continuity strategies, and plan development
- Conduct program assessments and compliance audits (ISO 22301, OSHA 1910.38)
- Integrate IT Disaster Recovery & cyber scenarios
- Utilize top continuity platforms (e.g., Fusion, Castellan, BC in the Cloud)

Training & Exercises
- Deliver emergency preparedness and BC training
- Design & facilitate HSEEP-aligned exercises
- Conduct After Action Reviews and corrective action tracking

Consulting Delivery
- Serve as an embedded or external consultant
- Conduct site assessments, analyses, and executive presentations
- Manage project deliverables and cross-functional coordination

Business Development
- Support proposals, scopes, and client expansion
- Represent BSI at industry events and forums
Qualifications
- 3–7 years in Emergency Management, Business Continuity, EHS, or related consulting
- Experience developing emergency plans, continuity plans, drills, or exercises
- Strong communication, project management, and client engagement skills
- Knowledge of ICS, HSEEP, COOP/COG, NFPA standards
- Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s + equivalent experience)
- Bonus points for certifications: CBCP, MBCI, CEM, CEDP
- Experience in High tech/semiconductor emergency response and Healthcare emergency management & regulatory compliance is a major plus!
