Job Description
Opportunity Overview
Handshake is looking for skilled 3D Slicer users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll draw on your hands-on experience with medical image analysis, CT/MRI segmentation, or surgical planning to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand medical imaging tasks and clinical research workflows.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on.
Who This Is For
This is a good fit if you're an experienced 3D Slicer user who has worked in or around roles like:
Medical Imaging Specialist or Biomedical Engineer
Research Scientist or Neuroimaging Analyst
Radiologist or Medical Physicist
You should have solid experience with one or more of the following:
CT/MRI segmentation, medical image analysis, or surgical planning using 3D Slicer
DICOM workflows, neuroimaging analysis, or clinical research data pipelines
Annotating or labeling medical imaging datasets
Reviewing segmentation outputs for accuracy, anatomical consistency, or clinical relevance
What You'll Do
You'll use your experience with 3D Slicer to create tool-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world medical imaging and biomedical research workflows.
No prior AI or technical experience is required.
