Role Description

iWorks is seeking a DevOps Pipeline Engineer to implement, harden, and manage TestRail as a secure containerized solution within a high-security Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) federal environment.

  • Design and build secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrate TestRail with Jira and Git-based workflows
  • Ensure production-grade operational support in a compliance-driven setting
  • Stand up and maintain a hardened, auditable, and scalable DevSecOps solution aligned with federal security standards

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Deploy and manage TestRail as a hardened container image within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Administer and support Kubernetes clusters in a secure federal cloud environment
  • Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines (runners, artifacts, environment promotion, secrets management)
  • Build and maintain integrations between TestRail, Jira, and Git-based development workflows
  • Develop automated deployment pipelines for routine patching and upgrades
  • Connect TestRail to a MySQL HeatWave database in collaboration with DBA teams
  • Configure audit logging, monitoring, and operational telemetry in alignment with federal compliance standards
  • Implement secure DevSecOps controls including image scanning, SAST/DAST gates, SBOM generation, and signed container images
  • Provide post-release operational support, including incident response, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • Contribute to operational runbooks, change management artifacts, and continuous process improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Kubernetes administration
  • Strong GitLab CI/CD experience, including pipeline design, runners, artifacts, environment promotion, and secrets management
  • Experience integrating test management tools (preferably TestRail) with Jira and Git-based workflows
  • Solid MySQL experience (connectivity, performance fundamentals, reliability), ideally with MySQL HeatWave familiarity
  • Demonstrated production support experience, including monitoring, incident response, on-call support, and operational documentation
  • Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications in secure enterprise environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with federal security and compliance expectations (least privilege access, audit logging, controlled change management)
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices, including SAST/DAST gates, image scanning, SBOMs, and signed container images
  • Experience working in FedRAMP, FISMA, or other regulated federal cloud environments
  • Relevant certifications (OCI, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), GitLab, Security+, or similar)
  • Experience supporting high-availability production systems within government environments

Benefits

  • Exceptional comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability)
  • 401(k)
  • Health and Wellness Benefits
  • Paid Sick Time, Vacation Time, and Holiday Time
  • Eligibility for bonuses throughout the year as part of our incentive program for innovation and business development
  • Consideration for an annual raise, commensurate with performance and company commitment
