- Delivers a sequenced, value-centric 3 to 5 year roadmap.
Cloud & Platform Architecture
- Architect solutions spanning U.S. on-premises data centers, Azure (primary cloud), AWS (select workloads), and Google SecOps for SIEM. Guides hybrid/multi-cloud patterns, landing zones, network/identity architecture, FinOps, cost governance, and observability.
- Ensures resilient, scalable designs for both cloud-first international footprints and U.S. data centers.
Modernization & Integration
- Leads rationalization and modernization of legacy platforms to contemporary architectures.
- Establishes and evolves enterprise integration patterns (API-first, event-driven, data streaming).
- Partners with teams to decompose monoliths, define domain boundaries, and enable modular, evolvable systems.
Middleware & API Management
- Define and govern enterprise integration architecture, including API-first design principles, middleware platforms, and event-driven patterns to ensure scalability, security, and reusability.
- Lead API lifecycle management and platform strategy (API gateways, ESB/iPaaS), enforcing standards for design, security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS), and observability across all services.
- Establish integration governance and best practices, driving adoption of reusable assets, developer enablement, and compliance with regulatory and performance requirements.
Data, Security & Resilience
- Guides data platform choices and patterns across multiple database platforms (Oracle, MS SQL, Progress OpenEdge, SAP HANA, MariaDB).
- Partners with Security and DR architects to embed Zero Trust, data protection, threat detection, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, and business continuity into designs.
- Promotes shared observability, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, and reliability engineering.
Governance & Standards
