Role Description

We're looking for a curious, detail-obsessed Operations Associate to join our research function. You'll be the foundation of our sourcing engine, building the company lists, candidate pipelines, and market intelligence that power every search we run. This is a great entry point into technical recruiting for someone who loves research, thrives in a structured environment, and wants to grow into a full sourcing role over time.

  • Build and maintain targeted company lists based on search criteria like industry, headcount, funding stage, and tech stack
  • Research companies across job boards, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and other tools to identify hiring patterns and talent signals
  • Compile and organize candidate long lists to support active searches
  • Track and update sourcing data to ensure pipeline accuracy and freshness
  • Assist with outreach logistics including sequencing, follow-up tracking, and inbox management
  • Identify patterns and surface insights from research to help our team prioritize the right targets

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a research, operations, or administrative role (recruiting exposure is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple tools and tabs without losing track of the big picture
  • A natural researcher who enjoys digging until they find what they're looking for
  • Clear written communication and an ability to summarize findings concisely
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment
