Job Description
Role Description
As the Senior Financial Operations Analyst, you will serve as the central nervous system for the company’s financial data. Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Operations, you will bridge the gap between Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You will be responsible for the accuracy of managing company-wide department budgets and overseeing the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash cycle. This is a high-impact role that requires a blend of accounting precision and RevOps strategy.
- Manage day-to-day accounting – entering transactions into QuickBooks, making payments, and monitoring bank and credit card activity, while ensuring compliance with good internal controls.
- Month/year-end close, maintaining accounting records, including account reconciliations and supporting documentation, to facilitate management review and independent audit.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement packages for management, Board, and investors.
- Maintain and update the annual company-wide budget. Track "Actual vs. Planned" spend across all departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and G&A).
- Monitor the payment status of all customer invoices to provide real-time cash-on-hand projections for leadership.
- Conduct monthly budget reviews with department heads to identify overages and adjust forecasts for the remainder of the year.
- Manage the global invoicing process. Ensure all contract terms (ARR, TCV, Net-terms) are accurately reflected in HubSpot and the accounting system.
- Own the Accounts Receivable process for the entire company. Proactively manage collections to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Maintain meticulous records of signed contracts and digital signatures for audit readiness and due diligence.
- Calculate and audit monthly/quarterly sales commissions and company-wide performance bonuses.
- Oversee the company-wide expense reimbursement process. Administer corporate card programs (e.g., Ramp/Brex) and enforce the global travel and expense policy.
- Consolidate all financial adjustments (commissions, bonuses, reimbursements) and submit finalized files to the payroll vendor (e.g., Rippling/ADP).
- Track all company software subscriptions, manage renewals, and identify opportunities for cost consolidation.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in a FinOps, RevOps, or Corporate Finance role (preferably in B2B Software/SaaS).
- CPA background.
- Excel/Google Sheets Mastery: Ability to build complex, multi-tab financial models, pivot tables, and advanced lookups (XLOOKUP, nested logic).
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.
- A "zero-error" mentality regarding payroll and commission submissions.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup.
- Experience with a publicly traded company.
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM, specifically regarding property management and workflow automation.
Benefits
- Work where your impact is direct, visible, and appreciated.
- Full autonomy and trust to solve problems that we may not have known we had.
- Flexible remote work setup with a strong support culture.
- Access to mission-critical projects and real-world security data.
- Help build a better analytics experience.
Compensation
- 115K-130K Base Salary, 10% Bonus.
Role Type
- Full-Time, Exempt.
- Reports to: VP of Revenue Operations.
- Location: Remote, in-person interview required.
