Job Description
Overview
The Corporate Planning & Performance Lead plays a critical role in translating strategy into results by owning the monthly operating review and preparing executive-level reports and dashboards. This role partners closely with the CEO and the Leadership Team to consolidate financial results, KPIs, and strategic initiatives into clear, executive‑ready insights that directly inform leadership decision‑making.
Well‑suited for recent MBA graduates. This position offers high visibility, cross‑functional influence, and the opportunity to shape how the organization measures performance and drives accountability against corporate goals.
Open to considering part-time while in school.
Responsibilities
Monthly Operating Reviews
- Manages the end-to-end process for monthly operating reviews, including preparation of executive-level reports and dashboards
- Consolidates financial results, corporate KPIs, and project milestones into a unified performance view
- Facilitates review meetings and provides clear analysis of trends, variances, and risks
Corporate Planning
- Supports development of annual and multi-year strategic plans
- Aligns financial forecasts with strategic initiatives and operational priorities
Performance Management
- Defines, tracks, and reports KPIs across business units
- Monitors progress on strategic projects and escalates risks or delays
- Tracks progress toward corporate annual and long-term incentive goals, ensuring visibility and accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partners with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams to gather data and insights
- Checks for consistency and accuracy in reporting across all functions
Executive Communication
- Prepares presentations and reports summarizing performance trends and recommendations for executive leadership
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advance skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in planning tools and data visualization platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience
- 1-3 years of business experience
- Proven experience managing executive-level reporting and performance tracking
- 1-3 years of business experience in corporate planning, FP&A, business operations, performance management or strategy roles preferred
Required Training, Certification and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
Preferred Training, Certification and Education
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field or MBA
- AFP, Power BI data analyst
Working Conditions
- Remote/Home Office
- Must be able to use equipment at workstation for up to 8 hours daily
