Role Description

LTK is seeking a motivated and collaborative Junior Counsel to join our legal team. This role is designed for an attorney early in their career, with 1–2 years of experience, who wants broad exposure to commercial, corporate, and compliance matters in a fast-growing, global startup environment.

  • Work closely with senior attorneys, providing legal support across LTK’s business functions while building practical skills, judgment, and hands-on experience.
  • The role is structured and guided, offering opportunities to learn and progressively take on more responsibility as you develop.

How you will make an impact

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and supporting the negotiation of contracts and agreements, primarily using standard templates and established processes. This may include customer, vendor, service, and SaaS agreements.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders as needed in customer matters.
  • Support customer-related legal and operational issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
  • Support contract administration and help maintain templates, playbooks, and internal processes.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, memoranda, and guidance on assigned matters.
  • Assist with operational and compliance initiatives, including governance, regulatory matters, or other industry-specific requirements.
  • Provide flexible support to the legal team as needed.

Learning and Development

  • Gain exposure to a wide range of legal matters to develop foundational skills.
  • Learn from senior team members and mentors to grow drafting, negotiation, and business judgment capabilities.

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school; licensed in at least one U.S. state.
  • 1–2 years of post-law school legal experience (transactional law firm and in-house experience preferred).
  • Experience with standard commercial agreements, ideally in a transactional or business-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across business functions.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks under supervision, with strong prioritization skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
  • A mindset focused on seizing opportunities and moving with urgency.
  • Dedication to fierce prioritization and operational excellence.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
