Role Description

We are seeking a Director of Clinical Practice & Performance to build and enforce MEDvidi’s clinical operating system. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, this role translates clinical strategy into standardized SOPs, documentation architecture, quality systems, and provider performance oversight.

This is an executive-level builder role — not a traditional clinical manager position. You will design the infrastructure that ensures safe, defensible, and consistent care delivery across psychiatric nurse practitioners and physicians. The role includes 10–20% clinical practice to remain embedded in workflows and model documentation excellence.

You will operate under delegated authority from the CMO to monitor adherence to standards, address prescribing variance, and initiate remediation when necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Build Scalable Clinical Infrastructure
    • Develop and operationalize condition-specific SOPs (ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, medical weight loss)
    • Establish structured prescribing frameworks, titration pathways, and monitoring standards
    • Define inclusion/exclusion criteria and clinical guardrails
    • Reduce variability across providers and service lines
  • Own Quality & Provider Performance
    • Design and lead structured chart audit programs and peer review systems
    • Monitor prescribing patterns and documentation quality
    • Define measurable clinical KPIs and maintain performance dashboards
    • Lead remediation processes and performance improvement plans when needed
    • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the CMO
  • Strengthen Documentation & Compliance Systems
    • Standardize EMR templates and intake/follow-up workflows
    • Embed structured documentation fields to improve defensibility and audit readiness
    • Operationalize stimulant safeguards and GLP-1 safety monitoring protocols
    • Establish adverse event review and escalation pathways
  • Partner Cross-Functionally
    • Collaborate with Product & Engineering to translate SOPs into scalable workflows
    • Review AI-assisted documentation tools and establish guardrails
    • Validate clinical accuracy of patient-facing and marketing materials
    • Ensure operational alignment between growth initiatives and clinical safety
  • Clinical Practice (10–20%)
    • Maintain a limited patient panel within core service lines
    • Model SOP adherence and documentation standards
    • Identify workflow friction and system improvement opportunities

This role operates under delegated authority from the Chief Medical Officer to enforce clinical standards across nurse practitioners and physicians. Regulatory compliance oversight and licensure logistics remain under MedOps. Final escalation authority resides with the CMO.

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • 5+ years psychiatric clinical experience
  • Strong experience with stimulant prescribing and/or medical weight loss management
  • Experience in telehealth or multi-state practice preferred
  • Experience building SOPs, quality systems, or provider performance programs
  • Comfortable enforcing standards and leading remediation conversations

Requirements

  • Systems-oriented and process-driven
  • Data-fluent and metrics-focused
  • Confident influencing physicians and senior clinicians
  • High integrity and sound clinical judgment
  • Comfortable operating in a scaling, high-accountability environment
  • Executive mindset beyond purely clinical practice

Benefits

  • Opportunity to build national clinical infrastructure at scale
  • Direct partnership with the Chief Medical Officer
  • Meaningful authority and impact on patient safety and quality
  • Remote flexibility
  • Competitive compensation and equity aligned with impact

Compensation

Competitive base salary ($185,000–$215,000), performance incentives, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation will reflect experience and licensure footprint.
