Role Description

As an Operations Specialist Sr within PNC's Securities Settlement organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, or Philadelphia, PA.

  • Work in the Securities Settlements department and be trained on everything within the department.
  • Responsible for end of day reconcilement between PNC systems and external custodians DTC and Fed Reserve system depository, as well as Global Custodian.
  • Execute complex transactions/processes of moderate to high risk and financial value utilizing standard policies and procedures.
  • Identify and address exceptions; serve as a point of escalation for complex transactions.
  • Partner internally with service partners to route calls, documents, or other action items to complete transactions.
  • Interact with external customers to complete transactions.
  • Ensure appropriate materials and documentation are available to complete transactions.
  • Provide consultation and advice to internal and external customers.
  • Review existing processes, recommend improvements, and drive implementation.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for process improvement projects.
  • Train and onboard new hires.
  • Review transactions and related documents to verify completeness, accuracy, conformance to established service levels, and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Participate in risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
