Role Description
A Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality remote patient care using technology, such as electronic health records, phone and video calls. This role involves working collaboratively with an interprofessional team to deliver comprehensive care using remote technology, including:
- Patient assessments
- Interventions
- Education
- Follow up
The RN utilizes evidence-based practices to guide clinical decisions, ensuring:
- Coordinated, high quality and fiscally accountable care across various settings
- Addressing safety and effectiveness
Qualifications
- Required Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after March 1, 2026
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program Required
- 5 years of relevant experience in ED / ICU, outpatient physician practice, telehealth triage or other relevant specialty Required
- Required Michigan RN License upon hire
