Job Description
This role is for one of our clients
Compensation: $0-$100 per hour
Location: Remote (must have access to a physical Mac)
Fluent Language Skills Required: English
We are supporting a high-priority data collection initiative aimed at improving how AI systems interpret complex creative software interfaces and real-world, multi-step workflows. Many existing datasets lack the depth and expert-level fidelity required to accurately represent authentic professional usage.
This initiative addresses that gap by collecting high-quality screen recordings and detailed UI annotations from experienced creative software users working in live digital environments.
Job Requirements
- What You’ll Do
- Depending on the phase of the project, you may be responsible for one or both of the following:
- Record screen sessions demonstrating specific creative workflows, with clear verbal narration explaining each step and decision
- Annotate screenshots by drawing precise bounding boxes around relevant interface elements
- Follow detailed staging instructions to configure required UI states before recording
- Use a custom capture tool to ensure accurate and consistent workflow documentation
- Strictly adhere to project guidelines to maintain high data quality and usability
- Required Expertise
- You should have strong familiarity with one or more of the following creative and design tools:
- Audio MIDI Setup
- Digital Color Meter
- Font Book
- Freeform
- Blender
- GIMP
- Godot Engine
- Inkscape
- LMMS
- Penpot
- Shotcut
- Wings 3D
- Additionally, you should:
- Be highly detail-oriented and comfortable following precise instructions
- Be capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines
- Have access to a physical Mac device and be willing to create a fresh macOS user profile if required

- Prior experience in data collection, annotation, or quality assurance
- Experience recording, teaching, or documenting creative workflows
- Comfort working in staged environments or learning new capture tools quickly

- Screen annotations are accurate, structured, and fully aligned with guidelines
- Screen recordings capture realistic, expert-level creative workflows
- Tasks are completed efficiently without compromising quality
- Collected data is scalable and usable for advanced AI research and development
- Contract & Payment Terms
- Engagement as an independent contractor
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on completed services
- Project duration may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on performance and program needs
- No access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution is required
- Visa sponsorship (including H1-B or STEM OPT) is not available
