Role Description
This role involves evaluating and analyzing closeout, liquidation, and augmentation prior to purchasing, establishing pricing to meet or exceed financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with retail operations, appraisal, and central finance teams to identify, analyze, and execute wholesale inventory, IP, and non-inventory opportunities.
- Support capital needs, reporting, and strategic forecasting.
- Lead postmortem analytics, periodic business reviews with senior management, and weekly reviews with key vendors to identify opportunities and document findings for future purchases.
- Define KPIs, implement measurement and reporting methods, and develop new technologies and tools to enhance analytics, deal performance standards, and inventory reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Master’s in Business, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations & Data Analytics, or Supply Chain Management
- 8 years of experience including 5 years at Director level or higher
- 8 years of experience with off-price retail, liquidations, reverse logistics, analytics, pricing, finance, or related fields
- 5 years of experience with demonstrated relationships with major stakeholders in retail, financial services, or reverse logistics industries
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software (Minitab, R, Python)
- People leadership and driving process improvement & optimization in distressed business transformations
- 20-30% travel to domestic locations
- Remote work from continental U.S. optional
