Role Description
The Remote Pharmacy Technician II plays a key role in supporting our members through accurate prescription processing and exceptional customer service. This role focuses on phone‑based member support, order processing, and prescription adjudication with no physical dispensing, packing, or on‑site pharmacy work.
- Answer inbound and outbound calls daily from members, prescribers, and insurance companies
- Assist new and existing members with order placement, prescription questions, and payment inquiries
- Contact prescriber offices for clarifications, refills, and prescription needs
- Accurately type prescription information into system workflows
- Adjudicate prescriptions and resolve insurance‑related issues
- Route cases to Intake or other queues when appropriate
- Work out of multiple queues and maintain productivity expectations
- Maintain high attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all data entry
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, policies, and internal procedures
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience, preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License, in good standing
- Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works under moderate degree of supervision
- Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
- Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
