Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW As an Account Executive at Coalescence, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and client acquisition for our professional services supporting SaaS solutions, with a focus on Salesforce. You will work closely with prospects and clients to identify and provide tailored solutions, helping them achieve their business objectives. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handover to the client services team. This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, experience in building relationships at the C-level, and a solid understanding of professional services within the SaaS ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level prospects and customers, acting as a trusted advisor. Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation through contract negotiation—ensuring smooth transition to the client services team. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within new clients to maximize customer value and increase company revenue. Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with Coalescence's services, ensuring seamless project delivery. Drive revenue through an assigned quota, divided into quarterly targets. Work closely with the Go-to-Market Leadership and Sales team to contribute to sales strategies and internal growth initiatives. Fulfill Management by Objectives (MBOs) set by leadership. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience selling IT services and/or products in a start-up environment. Familiarity with Salesforce products and Professional Services Automation products. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as ValueSelling. Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple client engagements and internal initiatives. Eagerness to work closely with leadership, sales, and delivery teams to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. Ability to creatively navigate client challenges and deliver solutions that support long-term business relationships. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales roles, preferably in a company selling professional services supporting a SaaS solution.
  • Experience working with services based technology products.
  • Proven track record of success in foundational sales activities, including high-volume outbound prospecting (cold-calling, email, social selling), expert-level qualification of leads using frameworks like BANT/MEDDIC, and consistent achievement of meeting/pipeline generation targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly convey value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with C-level executives.
