Job Requirements
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Engineering (BSE/BE), BS/AS in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or marine engineering; or similar background
- 8-15 years of experience with five years in US Naval Ship Engineering
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to become proficient in researching digital databases
- Ability to read and decipher technical electrical documentation
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to speak and write clearly in English
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time
- Capable of performing verification shipchecks onboard MSC and Navy ships
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Five years of experience performing as a key lead of NAVSEA or MSC engineering team projects
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree
- Professional Engineering License
- USCG Engineering License (Chief Engineer, 1st A/E, 2nd A/E, 3rd A/E Rating)
- Lead Engineer for former NAVSEA Ship Design Manager or similar roles
- Participation in professional organizations (e.g., IEEE, SNAME)
- Experience with Top Side, C4I, and Navigation
