• Design and preparation of Substation Site Development deliverables • Substation site grading plans • Stormwater management plans, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations, and drainage reports • Erosion and sediment control plans • Access road layout and design • Yard layout coordination and site optimization • Drainage design, culvert sizing, and ditch/berm design • Oil containment system design (berms, trenches, impervious liners) • Substation site demolition and restoration plans • Development of Bill of Materials based on Design Criteria • Coordination with electrical physical design, structural, and protection & controls teams • Integrating geotechnical recommendations into site design • Supporting permitting documentation for stormwater, erosion control, floodplain, and other civil requirements • Participating in client meetings and performing site visits as required • Interpreting and incorporating vendor/contractor information into design deliverables • Applying client standards and ensuring all QA/QC processes are followed • Continuous improvement of engineering, technical knowledge, and professional skillsets
