Job Description

• Serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and operational leader for the enterprise LogIT program, overseeing execution across multiple integrated lines of effort delivering enterprise logistics information capabilities. • Lead and coordinate a large Agile Release Train composed of systems engineering, development, modeling, and mission assurance teams, ensuring synchronized delivery of program objectives across multiple projects and phases. • Drive execution of the full systems engineering lifecycle across the contract, from requirements development and architecture through integration, verification, validation, and deployment. • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning and execution, ensuring alignment of priorities, resources, and deliverables across teams and stakeholders. • Ensure disciplined execution of Agile ceremonies across the release train, including daily stand-ups, sprint events, and weekly coordination meetings, providing oversight and facilitation to maintain alignment and effective communication across all teams and role levels. • Orchestrate delivery of phased capabilities, MVPs, and incremental releases, ensuring integration across projects within the overarching contract. • Coordinate and manage engagement with multi-service military stakeholders, Joint Program Office (JPO), and OSW leadership to align requirements, priorities, and delivery outcomes. • Leverage Agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence) to manage backlogs, track dependencies, maintain program transparency, and support documentation and collaboration across teams. • Apply data-driven Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-up/burn-down, flow metrics, and predictability measures) to monitor performance, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the release train. • Remove organizational and technical impediments to enable efficient team execution and continuous improvement. • Establish and maintain program-level metrics, performance indicators, and reporting structures to monitor delivery health and risk. • Ensure integration of mission assurance activities, system modeling efforts, and development outputs into a cohesive delivery pipeline. • Support systems engineering governance by ensuring requirements traceability, architecture alignment, and verification and validation practices are consistently applied. • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration of technical and operational capabilities. • Support program leadership in planning, risk management, and stakeholder communications. • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.
