The purpose of this Legal Secretary II position is to provide the necessary administrative support for the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Division. This position may offer the ability to work remotely after training, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance. Maintain the judicial docket in specialized legal areas including Workers’ Compensation. Prepare legal notices, subpoenas, orders, and awards. Schedule hearings with multiple parties. Maintain confidential files. Organize and summarize legal documents and information. Compose general correspondence and respond to inquiries regarding the hearing process and applicable procedures. Provide administrative support for ALJ Division reporting by accurately capturing and conveying hearing statistical information.
