Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Digital Health Implementation Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise across a variety of telehealth and virtual care tools initiatives and projects while managing overall implementation support operations and leading multiple projects and teams of personnel. Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements, define problems, and develop plans and requirements for complex systems related to telehealth and virtual care tools Advise on the application of healthcare systems in the context of telehealth and virtual care tools Perform day-to-day management of overall implementation support operations, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all implementation support activities Lead and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative telehealth and virtual care tools solutions Exercise authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support project efforts Ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions, disseminating expertise in telehealth and virtual care tools technologies and best practices Provide expert input on business processes related to telehealth and virtual care tools Manage relationships with key stakeholders, customers, end users, other contractors to ensure projects are progressing and issues are resolved Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing improvements when necessary Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in telehealth and virtual care tools and advise on their potential impact and opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in health informatics, information systems, business, project management, Implementation Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant software tools
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively delegate tasks, provide guidance, and promote a positive team environment
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building productive relationships with team members from various departments, companies, or disciplines
  • Motivated, hard-working self-starter who is organized, consistent, persistent, and able to achieve results and develop solution options for program issues independently
  • Preferences
  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar healthcare organizations
  • Have experience managing programs, particularly healthcare, at VA OR Have experience in a commercial setting in the management or development of digital health products and/or programs
  • Familiarity with VA systems, processes, and regulations
  • Salary Range
  • $85,000.00 to $125,000.00
