Job Description

As design lead, you will be involved in managing multiple projects simultaneously, working independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally with other creatives, client partnership teams and strategists to innovate and deliver impactful work to clients. You will be responsible for thinking big while also paying attention to the details. As a conceptual thinker, you have the ability to bring ideas to life and present solutions clearly, backed by strong communication and rationale. Expert in problem-solving, you approach tasks with a solutions-oriented mindset. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Create and source design assets while developing branded toolkits (sourcing photography, typography, graphic elements, etc.) Collaborate with your Creative Leaders on the approach, production, and implementation of projects. Ability to translate creative themes into successful design systems and visual languages. Ensure brand consistency by following established guidelines while also exploring creative ways to push the brand forward. Responsible for managing your workload, meeting deadlines consistently, and effectively prioritizing tasks. Stay engaged throughout the entire project lifecycle, from kickoff to final production, ensuring attention to detail. Create and present work to internal teams and clients in a clear, structured, and persuasive manner, and sell ideas when necessary. Collaborate with a variety of internal teams and cater to client relationships and needs. Interpret and incorporate client feedback to move projects forward with clarity ensuring that creative work meets client needs, Ologie standards, and differentiates from competitors. Incorporate feedback from peers and clients, refining designs to meet objectives. Mentor junior members of the creative team and guide the team in client work, ensuring the creative is on target. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, consistent with the objectives and scope of the role.

Job Requirements

  • Have seven or more years of graphic design experience, ideally in an agency or a consulting environment.
  • Be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong focus on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Have motion design skills, with specific experience in Adobe After Effects (plus 3D software like Cinema 4D or Blender).
  • Bring expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and FigJam for digital design and collaboration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in WordPress (design and development).
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills: articulating ideas clearly, giving and receiving feedback constructively, acting as a storyteller, and thriving in client-facing discussions.
  • Be comfortable owning and leading projects independently.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Have experience working in marketing for higher education, health care, non-profits, or other mission-driven fields.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, or another related field.
  • Are proficient in Google Workspace (including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and Meet).

  • The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Your final salary will be determined based on your training, relevant experience, and location.
