Job Description

This role involves managing clinical sales in oncology to support our oncology portfolio of liquid biopsy products. Build, develop, and lead a high impact team of Oncology Specialists responsible for driving sales volume for BillionToOne's Northstar Liquid Biopsy products and services. Cultivate relationships with oncologists and other members of the extended cancer care community in the region. Deliver clinical information to both external clients and internal teams. Influence how the test is communicated to oncologists and the cancer care community. Contribute to how the test evolves to better serve market needs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of field sales management experience leading a team of sales reps at a molecular diagnostics / liquid biopsy company.
  • Strong experience hiring, developing, coaching, and motivating a team of sales reps to exceed ambitious sales goals.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record (e.g., multiple award winning - President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, Circle of Excellence or equivalent).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically.
  • Ability to assess the needs of Oncologists and their office staff with a focus on consultative sales.
  • Strong desire to work in a startup environment and build out a new territory and team.
  • Must act with a sense of urgency, with a focus on closing business.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills and understanding of buyer/decision maker types.
  • Exhibit effective selling, listening, and presentation skills.
