Job Description
The Network Control/Administrator plays a key role in the design, implementation, operation, support, and optimization of Fragomen’s global network infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center network systems.
Involved in complex network initiatives
Provide Tier 2 support
Collaborate across business and IT teams to align network strategy with organizational goals
Predominantly a wireless network engineer to design, manage, and support the global wireless infrastructure
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level network administration or engineering
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent relevant experience
- CompTIA Network+, Palo Alto, or equivalent certifications desirable
- Enterprise Networking: LAN/WAN design, VLANs, EtherChannel, Spanning Tree, QoS, traffic prioritization
- Routing Protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and policy-based routing
- Network Security: Palo Alto and related firewall and VPN technologies
- Wireless Systems: Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Aerohive, Clearpass
- SD-WAN: Citrix, Palo Alto, SilverPeak implementations
- Voice & Collaboration: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), CUBE, Unity, CME
- Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, LiveAction, Wireshark
- Cloud Integration: Familiarity with hybrid connectivity (Azure, AWS)
- Disaster Recovery: Network failover and redundancy planning
