Job Description

• Lead end-to-end UX strategy across multiple products within the Workiva Platform • Uncover explicit and latent user needs through research, stakeholder engagement, and systems-level analysis • Translate insights into scalable, ecosystem-level experience direction aligned to business strategy and platform goals • Design cohesive workflows, interaction patterns, and platform experiences that balance consistency with innovation • Rapidly prototype, validate, and iterate solutions grounded in qualitative and quantitative evidence • Define clear success metrics in partnership with Product and Research • Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions through strong design rationale and business alignment • Mentor senior designers, elevate craft standards, and drive consistent, high-quality user experiences across teams

Job Requirements

10+ years of professional UX experience, shipping multiple successful products
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
A portfolio demonstrating expert design aptitude is required
Strong customer orientation, ability to dive deep, and strong problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, frameworks and methodologies
Experience leveraging AI as a force multiplier within the UX process
Experience designing for AI-experiences, translating machine intelligence into usable interactions
Mastery-level skills, at Figma, user-centered design, visual design and systems thinking
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use collected data and analytics to inform design decisions.
