Job Description

• Strategize, build, and implement product plans for assigned markets, ensuring compliance • Consult with State Product Leadership to drive clarity of business strategies and operating objectives • Collaborate with internal product, underwriting, and risk management teams • Actively influence state policy, regulatory discussions, and industry forums • Represent CSAA in public forums, trade associations, and partner roundtables • Support enterprise catastrophe management strategy • Contribute thought leadership on the evolving California property market • Influence development of industry standards for wildfire risk scoring • Collaborate with a team of Product Analyst and Specialists • Oversee and coordinate product development, delivery, and analysis for assigned markets • Review claims trends to achieve loss ratio targets. • Ensure alignment within and across functions and communicate results throughout the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related area (finance, marketing, business, or a related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the personal lines P&C insurance industry
  • Prior experience related to state product management in analytical, product specialist, or market generation roles
  • Enhanced strategic and business sense
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Thorough knowledge of the P&C insurance industry, products, marketplace, competitive landscape, and pricing
  • In-depth product management expertise
  • Advanced understanding of financial drivers of profitability
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • High-Level of knowledge and proficiency in change management concepts and practices.
