Job Description
• Build Infrastructure That Never Fails: Design and implement highly-available, fault-tolerant backend services.
• Scale Real-Time Communication Systems: Own the backend infrastructure that handles video routing, session management.
• Enable Frontend Teams Through Platform Excellence: Build the APIs and services that frontend engineers depend on.
• Deliver Operational Excellence and Observability: Instrument what matters, establish SLOs, and surface problems.
• Contribute to a Purpose-Driven, User-Centered Culture: Advocate for reliability in technical discussions.
Job Requirements
- Proven Backend Engineering Skills: 10+ years building, deploying, and operating backend services in production.
- Real-Time Media Processing Expertise: Hands-on experience with GStreamer (required), SIP/RTP, and WebRTC.
- Expertise in Highly-Available Systems: Deep understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance patterns, and reliability engineering.
- Detail-Oriented and Data-Driven: You instrument your systems, use metrics and logs to diagnose issues systematically.
- Startup Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguous environments, build with incomplete requirements.
