• Install, configure and virtualize server hardware • Install/configure operating systems, software, network settings • Write deployment scripts and manifests to deploy hardware and platforms consistently • Develop and implement new solutions based on new customer requirements • Pro-actively monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls • Implement and maintain backup solutions, including RDBMS replication, recovery and system failover • Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls • Monitor and enforce security policies
