Job Description
• Manages the credit union’s overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
• Serves as the designated Compliance Officer and subject matter expert in compliance, ensuring the organization remains current and responsive to changes in laws and regulations.
• This role is responsible for independently running the Compliance department, leveraging third-party support as needed, and making data-driven compliance recommendations for the business that evaluate the pros and cons of proposed courses of action.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Ten years’ related experience in area(s) such as Lending, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, etc. required.
- Knowledge of compliance with consumer lending laws, Bank Secrecy Act and federal banking regulations.
- PC skills, organization skills and excellent communication skills.
