Job Description
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as FSO or 5+ years as AFSO
- 7+ years of government contracting experience
- BS/BA Degree required
- Completion of Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification – STEPP’s “FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities” (certificate) or completion within 3 months from start date
- Understanding of the government contract lifecycle
- Knowledge of government security and information assurance processes
- Ability to security onboard and maintain +300 new employees and Independent Contractors across various sites throughout the country
- Demonstrated ability to provide employees with personnel security guidance, consistent with the 13 adjudicative guidelines
- Experience with protection requirements for handling and safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Experience with DISS, NISS, NBIS, eAPP, and ACCS
- Ability to communicate effectively with Corporate Executives to provide status updates, ensure compliance with the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117 NISPOM requirements, and provides guidance on security related questions or concerns
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Superior problem solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Must be willing to travel throughout the country as needed.
