• Manage and enhance financial and metric reporting such as P&L results, route, mileage, cost per mile, miles per route, cube/route, fuel consumption • Monitor the monthly EIA change in fuel price vs the budgeted and forecasted fuel rates • Calculate the cost impact on re-alignments and overrides and change in shipment plans • Maintain complex databases, data queries linked to metric and financial reporting • Support the Transportation team with various analysis for RFP’s and union negotiations • Analyze transportation metrics to uncover, communicate, and solve for opportunities • Provide weekly projections, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting for leadership team and DCs to review • Develop the new year financial/metric budget models • Work with the dedicated and private fleet teams in developing a bottoms up budget and incorporating the necessary initiatives and layers • Identify and model budget shifts and variance explanations vs previous forecast
