Job Description
Talent Consultants is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will handle a variety of litigation matters, providing high-quality legal representation to our clients while working collaboratively with other attorneys and staff. You will be responsible for managing cases from inception to resolution, which includes conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, participating in discovery, and representing clients in court proceedings. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is ready to take on challenging cases and contribute to our firm's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee litigation cases, ensuring timely and effective progression of all legal matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
- Draft and file legal documents including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, court hearings, and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation.
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the bar in the state of practice.
- 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
