About the role We're seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support embedded hardware platforms used in industrial and outdoor environments. This role spans schematic design, multi-layer PCB layout, power systems, and close collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing partners. This is not a “paper-only” role — the ideal candidate has shipped real hardware, debugged boards on the bench, and understands how designs behave in the field. What You'll Do: As a Electrical Engineer, you will: Design and develop multi-layer PCBs (6+ layers) for embedded systems Own schematic capture, component selection, layout review, and bring-up Route and validate high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB 3.x, MIPI CSI, Ethernet, etc.) Design and debug power architectures , including: POE/POE+/POE++ Solar-powered systems MPPT/battery backed designs Work closely with firmware teams on MCU and application processor integration Support board bring-up, validation, and manufacturing handoff Participate in failure analysis, root-cause debugging, and iterative revisions What You Bring: Compensation Range The base salary range for this role is $120,000-$160,000, plus a competitive equity package.
