Job Description
• Design, build, and operate Go microservices that power seller listings, pricing, payments, and fulfillment
• Own features end-to-end: from technical design to deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Debug and resolve production issues
• Work across team boundaries
• Contribute to technical design decisions, code reviews, and architecture documentation
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
- strong proficiency in Go and/or Ruby on Rails
- experience building and operating event-driven systems (SQS, Kafka, or similar)
- proficiency with gRPC / Protocol Buffers for service-to-service communication
- hands-on experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases
- strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL)
- fluency with observability platforms (Honeycomb, Datadog, or similar)
- e-commerce or marketplace platform experience
- bias towards action
