Your Role & Responsibilities Job Summary: Account Managers are responsible for managing the overall sales efforts in their assigned territory to maximize sales and profit. They must utilize frequent face-to-face and/or telephone contact in a consultative sales approach to ensure the satisfaction of customer needs. They must identify selling opportunities and assertively act upon the opportunities that offer maximum potential and/or gross profit - both with existing customers through cross- and range-selling as well as with new leads. They must uphold Brenntag’s core values and focus on customer excellence in all regards every day. Job Description: Customer Business Development assigned territory (65%) Meet sales objectives focus on customer retention well improving overall satisfaction (also through digital channels Identify potentials , i.e., cross - and range-selling existing customers engage relevant stakeholders (e.g., Brenntag Essentials s ales staff Set strategies targets growth customers assigned territory sales plan); align Sales Manager Frequently c onduct visits prepare meetings using all available tools reports coordinate negotiate close proposals Manage spot rush offers get support from Commercial Assistant when necessary Liaise relevant stakeholders create in a timely manner best customer and extract maximum value (e.g., Sales Management, Industry Marketing Management, Development) Act major point contact customers assigned territory in all matters ​ Conduct studies on potential new by contacting customers gather interest test demand Leverage Brenntag Connect generate maximize sales New customer generation (10%) Spot launching sales projects cooperation other departments like Industry Marketing Management, Dev elopment suppliers Identify prioritize prospective customers Get contact prospects involve relevant stakeholders nurture leads down pipeline Liaise Brenntag Essentials sales staff customers new Brenntag Specialties Sales & General Admin (15%) Set and maximize prices considering value-based pricing and customer segmentation within guidelines provided by Management/ Industry Marketing Management Ensure appropriate data administration documentation all cases local CRM system (e.g., post processing visits creation projects Update and opportunity pipelines potentials CRM system Complete sales revenue-related reporting Drive functional excellence based guidance input from Commercial Excellence Function Provide regular forecasts demand from customers Industry Marketing M anagement optimize projected demand requirements
